Q: I have an Aqua Plus Controller and use a Hayward Turbo 15 salt cell. The salt level on the controller (2100ppm) does not match the salt level when I had my water tested (4800ppm). I cleaned my salt cell and it didn’t make much of a change. What do I need to do?

Q: it seems the screen is hard to maneuver in that the buttons need to be pushed 2-3 times before actually taking affect. Is there a sensitivity setting so that this can be alleviated? Thanks Joanne

Q: I have a Hayward Goldline control, Aqua Plus salt system. I would guess it is about 13 years old. I bought this home with the pool about 7 years ago. I was wondering, at what water temp does the system stop generating chlorine. I was working on my pool recently, cleaning it up, checking chemical levels, which all are in range, except my chlorine level is super low, even though my pool looks great. Anyway, my water temp is around 60 to 62 degrees. I see the system starts to generate salt, according to the timer I have set, but then shuts off sooner than expected. Even when I have the chlorinator percentage set high or even set on 100%. I assume it doesn't need to generate chlorine during the cold winter months, so it shuts down, or so I assume. And it is just now starting to warm up in central Ga. i never started working on the pool this soon in past year. Also, at what water temp is it too cold for algae to grow? Thank you for your help...
